“Undiscovered Wroclaw” photographic exhibition Yeison Sierra
I am Yeison Sierra, raised in a small town in Spain but I am of Honduran origin. I was living my whole life between many places, always observing and trying to understand different realities and learning a bit every day.
I want to share with You a small alternative vision of Wroclaw, where the different elements that compose it and the most common forms become the protagonists, leaving aside the human presence in an anonymous and secondary role.
Wroclaw – a city with a beautiful detailed architecture full of colours everywhere, a city eager to open up to the world but despite of all the changes experienced in recent years, the shadows of the past are still present, taking so long that they have passed to be footprints.
Sometimes the modernity tries to grow and covers these shadows. Place where everything revolves around itself and when everything revolves in itself, there are no roads or for those who already know the future, all that remains is to hope that at some point, the horizon will no longer be flat.
